Vineyard Tourism in the Aegean Region is Growing Together: Çal, Urla, and Lidya

Vineyard tourism in the Aegean region is not just about tasting and vineyard tours; it's a powerful experience that brings together history, gastronomy, and local identity. The panel titled "The Aegean Signature on Vineyard Tourism: The Çal Vineyard Route, the Urla Vineyard Route, and the Lydian Ancient Vineyard Route," held at TTI Stage as part of TTI İzmir, was a highly attended and productive gathering that brought this story together within a shared framework.
The panel's most valuable message was clear: the routes are not "alternatives"; they are complementary parts. The atmosphere on stage, which conveyed a language of friendship, cooperation, and growth together rather than competition, was one of the strongest indicators for the future of Aegean wine tourism.

Let's work together to polish and expand this valuable product.
The panel was moderated by Onur Türkay, and the speakers were Prof. Dr. Hürriyet Yılmaz (Çal Vineyard Route), Ceylan Ertörer Diaz Leon (Urla Vineyard Route), and Ercan Boztepe (Ancient Lydian Vineyard Route). The presentations emphasized that routes combining the viticulture heritage of the Aegean with modern experience design can play a strategic role in extending tourism throughout the 12 months of the year through accurate narrative, quality, and collaboration.

This meeting demonstrated once again that we can grow the power of vineyard tourism in the Aegean not through individual successes, but through a shared language and a common vision.
